PATRICK MCCLANAHAN
I'm Patrick McClanahan, an Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Alabama. My research delves into the environmental and situational factors that influence criminal decision-making, always striving to understand why someone chooses to commit a crime in one context and not another. By exploring the offender's perspective and utilizing innovative methods like virtual reality, my goal is to contribute to more effective crime prevention strategies and inform rehabilitation efforts.
